Count The Monkeys is my second book with the amazing Mac Barnett. It is a ‘counting book’, meaning it introduces numbers and such and so to children. And perhaps adults who just haven't been paying attention for several decades. Displayed here are several spreads from the book itself, as well as some of the concept art and roughs. I had to draw a lot of monkeys. More than the usual amount, which is probably three to four monkeys a day. I'm sure you average somewhere around there as well.
