At the beginning of 2007, Dan Mall asked if I'd be interested in helping market his brainchild — swfIR, a technique for making static images in the the html page dynamically do some of the things that previously needed to be done in Photoshop. Like rotating the image, adding borders, rounding corners, and much more. I accepted, on the condition that he stop hitting me with his car.
Along with designing the website and sample pages, I also put together the swfIR logo. The technological aspects of swfIR were addressed by Dan, as well as fellow whiz kids Marc Huot and Jon Aldinger. Even ol' Stan contributed, allowing us to steal his Daily Photo to use as our prime example on the homepage.
